JAMES CLEVELAND WINEINGER

James Wineinger, 69, Petersburg, formerly of French Lick, died Feb 15, 2014 at Eastgate Manor Nursing and Rehab Center in Washington, IN.

Born July 2, 1944, in Paoli, he was the son of Harvey Russell and Wilma Frieda Collins Wineinger.

He had attended Springs Valley High School and graduated from Paoli High School.  He was retired from the Army, where he had served in Vietnam.  He previously had worked as a radio and TV repairman and had been employed in convenience stores and gas stations.

Survivors include his spouse, Sue Wineinger of Dayton, OH; one step-daughter, Caroline Feeman of Dayton, OH; his great-niece and caregiver, Anna Uppencamp of Petersburg; one brother, Vance E. Wineinger of Washington, IN; one sister, Marguerite Saint Claire of West Baden Springs; and several grand-children.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Donald Mack and Harold Leon Wineinger; and two sisters, Mary Walls and Laura Jones.
